The Lurman Theatre is an outdoor
community amphitheater located at Catonsville High School in the woods next to
the football field. The all-volunteer
Lurman Theater group has been bringing these free summer concerts every weekend
in June, July, and August to this beautiful, naturally wooded setting since
1992. The Lurman Theater is an
all-volunteer group who takes pride in producing a concert series that includes
many musical styles, from Big Band to Bluegrass, Rock to Reggae, Country to
Cajun and more! The 2023 Summer Concert Schedule
can be found on the Lurman Woodland Theater Facebook page. Anyone can attend these
free family-oriented concerts from 6 pm to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday. This free Summer Concert Series is made
possible by the generous support of organizations, businesses and individuals
who return annually to be part of their program that offers their guests the
opportunity to enjoy diverse music, as well as the theater’s charm and beauty.
Our fundraiser, a
Spring Raffle Dinner, is being held at the Dewey Lowman American Legion in
Arbutus on Saturday, April 29th from 7 pm to 11 pm. Tickets are $50 which includes dinner catered
by Carrabba’s, soda, beer, wine, West Side Rocks band, and a chance to win from
$50 to $800 from our progressive raffle. Only 125 tickets will be sold. No tickets will be sold
at the door. Tickets can be purchased via

Remember, sponsors
and donations are their only source of funds since Baltimore County contributes
nothing even though they operate under the Catonsville Park and Recreation
Council. Please help support this
important fundraiser with proceeds going to the Lurman Theater for their
"free" summer weekend concerts at the Catonsville High School's
amphitheater.
