Ken York - Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitar player. Ken joined the band four
years ago. He had been performing solo acoustic gigs as-well-as sitting in with
other local bands and artists. He enjoys playing a variety of music and has
been singing since an early age.
Richard Fradkin – Drummer. From junior high through college and
beyond, Richard played drums and percussion in orchestras, marching bands,
musicals, and dinner theatre including tours of multiple countries and
performances at Disney World while in college. He has played in several local
bands over the last ten years and is having a blast focusing on blues and
classic rock with the other members of 12bars.
Joe Kessler - Lead Guitarist. When not playing blues and blues-based rock
with 12bars, Joe is still involved in the blues world as tour manager for the
Otis Taylor Band. His collection of guitars owned by blues artists includes
guitars in the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame and the Smithsonian. Joe has been
known to show up for band practice with a banjo.
Robert Gassman - Bass and Back-up Vocals. Robert's music inspiration was
provided by seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show and realizing he had to
learn to play a guitar. He's been playing bass guitar since high school
and also plays the upright bass, guitar and keyboard. He played full-time with
the Stu Zooter Band after college and part-time since. Most recently, he has
also played with Speed Limit 40. His musical taste runs from classical and
choral music to classic rock and jazz.
