Subject: Singer/guitarist looking for partner
Message# 44656
Name: Steve
Singer/guitarist recently retired from successful local band Whisky Train looking for a partner in crime to put together an acoustic duo for happy hour/ early evening gigs.
Loved playing out, just not interested in getting home at 3 AM anymore. Wanna put together a 2-3 hour show to perform at happy hours, weekend daytime dockbar type functions or other early gigs playing an eclectic mix of newer singer/songwriter type stuff with a few classics sprinkled in. Things like Jason Isbell, Noah Gundersen and Ed Sheeran are examples.
Ideal candidate will be able to play AND sing, both lead and harmony. Guitar skill not nearly as important as your vocal ability. Ability to play more than one instrument (that would work in this scenario) is a HUGE plus.
I have lights/PA big enough for this venture, so that part is handled. All you'll need is your instrument(s) and your talent. AGE IS NOT IMPORTANT. as far as I care, you can be 80, as long as you can still bring it.
Below are some links to an acoustic show I did with my last band to give you an example of my ability. I own several acoustics as well as an acoustic piezo system for my electric:
