I am a mature guitarist with lead and backup vocal ability looking for a working band. The key phrase is WORKING. I have put in plenty of dues in my time and don't have the time or patience to rehearse in a basement and learn fifty songs in a startup only to find out that that dog won't hunt. So I do what I have been doing since I was laid off my job in 2008.

I have been a hired gun for several bands where they send me the list with the key; I learn the song, show up and play; and most importantly get paid. Usually private parties, fundraisers, and weddings.

I play pretty much everything but rap and hip hop and quite versatile with a multiple genre ability. Have high tenor voice and can sing lead and / or backup.

I am self taught. If I hear the song, I can play it.

I would like to find a full time or steadily working part time band relatively close to my home in Howard county where we could get tight and rehearse to provide some great music.

I don't drink, do drugs, and have a professional attitude. I would like to be a one band guitarist but

if you need a reliable fill in, I am happy to do that as well.
