Keeping the music of the 1950's alive, Josh Christina, a young piano player from Baltimore County, has perfected his art of playing Rock n Roll. Influenced by Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and Ray Charles, Josh mixes it up with a blend of rock n roll, country and blues. Josh has been working with veteran musicians since he was 8 years old when he had his Junior Blues Brothers act. Josh caught the attention of Nashville-based producer Kent Wells (Dolly Parton' producer), who immediately got to work with Christina on his sophomore effort, "Good Old Love". His single "Kayla Ann" charted on the Nashville Music Row chart and went to number 1 on some independent charts. His latest effort "I'm 21", also produced by Kent Wells is now available for purchase on iTunes, CD Baby or www.joshchristinamusic.com."It was really important to both Josh and I that we emphasize what makes his sound unique," adds Wells. "He has this great Memphis rockabilly sound... A sound that will take listeners back to when country and rock n roll were in their prime." The band consist of Josh Christina on piano, along with Mike Scoglio on bass, Anders Eliasson on drums and Zac Sweeney on guitar.
