The Deni Starr Band (a female fronted classic rock cover band in the Baltimore metro area) is ISO a dependable drummer with lots of cover band experience. Qualities must include a good sense of tempo (no speed metal types), competence to emulate any artist without overplaying (no gratuitous triplets and cowbell throughout every tune), some sense of a performing musician’s persona (homeless bum wardrobe/hairstyle is not considered in vogue), and a minimal but dependable gear (no Neil Peart kits). But most of all, the ability to be a team player who can take direction/suggestions without feeling threatened. Hello,

My name is Craig Harvey and I just recently retired after 35 years as a high school band directror.  I like you guys have performed in every venue imaginable from clubs to stadiums. I have played drum set since 1973 and can sing lead, background, or nothing at all.  Whatever helps the band the most.  I am more of a groove drummer and understand groove is everything.  Being retired, I can practice whenever you want. I can play all of the standard 100 or so tunes eveyone is playing.  I would like to play out and travel as much as the band feels comfortable.  I have all my own equipment including my kit and sound and lights.Hope to hear from you 410-804-6367.
