Forming working Grateful Dead,Zappa and more band.To gig often!Practice space in south Carroll county.Seeking paying venues once rehearsals are solid.Need experienced guitar player who is already familiar with the music.You have to be able to play most of the tunes on the list.To be able to cop some of the Bob Weir style of playing is a must but to be a clone is not necessary.Guitarist must be able to play Weirs parts in Scarlet/Fire,Deal,Going down the road feelin' bad,Birdsong for example.The selection of Zappa is to be played fairly straight forward.
Want to focus on putting on a show,hard not to when playing Zappa music.It's about 2 sets of Dead,a set of Zappa and then a set of mixed.We tend to stretch out songs a bit.Originals are also on the burner.
