“END of SUMMER SHOWDOWN”
You may ask,
“What is ‘END of SUMMER SHOWDOWN?’”. We will be holding a Pit beef and chili
cooking competition held on site at Naylor’s. With beef being judged by our VIP
ticket holders and Guest Judges. Chili will be judged by anyone that attends
general admission. We will have chili tasting and music with your ticket
purchases. And for additional purchase, food and drinks will be available,
anyone 21+ will be able to purchase beer tickets and a wine tasting.

Chili Cook-Off
Registration and Rules
1Teams may have no more 3 members including Capitan, Must have a name and be displayed in you 10’x10’ area. ( 10’x10’ EZ ups are welcome)
2All members’ names must be on registration form, signed and submitted by July 1, 2018 with the $20 entry fee. (This will get your 3 person team general admission wristbands for the event. You may still buy in advance VIP tickets if you choose to for these perks).
3Set-up & Cooking begins at 6am. Chili Tasting should begin no later than 11am for VIP guests and 12 for General Admissions. Judging will end at 3pm. Winners announced 4:30.(1st,2nd,3rd, best booth)
4Make at least 3 gallon of Chili or MORE, you don’t want to run out. You are judged by the people.
5All Chili MUST be made on site in your 10’x10’
6All food and preparation must follow PA Food Handlers Guidelines40°F cold items, 165°F hot items to be safe. These may be check and if you fail “Disqualified” NO REFUNDS
7If using sensitive ingredients please post a sign stating such(nuts or such based oils)
8You must supply own source of heat. (NO OPEN FIRES)
9Serving cup’s and spoons will be provided for each booth.
10Professional Cooks/Chefs, Non Profits groups, Safety Personal or anyone is welcome to enter and encouraged.

Pit Beef Cook-off
Registration
and Rules
1Entry to the Pit Beef Competition will be 7-10 lbs. of cooked beef for the SAL to sell during the event. This must be submitted by 12pm!
2Teams consist of 3 members including Capitan, Team must have a name and be displayed in your 10’x10’Front area. (EZ ups are welcome) Cooking area bigger if needed for Cooker/Smokers.
3Member’s names must be on the registration. (This will get your 3 person team general admission wristbands for the event. You may still buy in advance VIP tickets if you choose to for these perks).
4Meat must be cooked on site starting @ 6am and ready to start sampling around 10 and judging till 12pm! Winner announced 4:30 (1st, 2nd, 3rd )
5All Teams must follow Pa Food Handler Guidelines
6All meat should be severed above 135°F and keep cold below 40°F before cooking
7Professional Cooks/Chefs, Non Profits groups, Safety Personal or anyone is welcome to enter and encouraged.
