Dean Crawford is more than just a gifted performer with a great voice; he renders both traditional and contemporary country tunes with deep conviction, charisma and energy. Dean is also a talented songwriter, with over 500 songs in his portfolio, he notes Dolly Parton as a great influence to his writing style, with Garth Brooks and Conway Twitty as his favorites.

Dean Crawford and The mighty Dunn’s River Band are the most booked and hardest working country music entertainers in the Tri-State Area. Dean and the band hold numerous awards, Dean was honored to win the Maryland Music Award for Songwriter of the Year and the band collectively hold awards for Performers of the Year and Best Country Artists in Maryland! They took 3rd place in BEST OVERALL BAND IN THE REGION behind an 80's Tribute Band (1st) and a Jazz Band (2nd) and are currently nominated for THE BEST OF BALTIMORE

Dean has produced five CD's and has sold over 24,000 copies and has made numerous TV appearances in the market. His songs are a main staple on several large market and internet radio stations throughout the region. Dean leads a mighty six piece band that would be the envy of any national touring country act on the scene today. The band covers both contemporary and traditional country music which enables them to please any audience anywhere! A faithful and growing fan base is what keeps this group on the rise with sold out appearances and souvenir sales that eclipse any other group in the region.

With regular gigs at local clubs, outdoor festivals, and private events, Dean and his band has extended their reach to places like Cowboy Coast Saloon in Ocean City, MD, Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, Hollywood Casino's in Perryville and Charles Town, Bally's Wild Wild West Saloon in Atlantic City, NJ, MD Live! Casino, Pimlico Race Track in Baltimore, Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, Rams Head Live in Baltimore, they were requested to represent Maryland Country Music at Dick Gelfman's Ride Across Maryland, they have also performed for the soldiers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) several times, the Wounded Warriors Projects, Truckin' for Troops, as well as the Special Olympics. Dean was also chosen by the Governor to represent the country lifestyle and genre through his music.

Dean and Dunn's have opened up for notable Nashville greats such as Neal McCoy, Buddy Jewel, Montgomery Gentry, Jamie O'Neil, Bucky Covington and we were called upon and honored to accept the invitation to open for the greatest country singer of all time, in his last public appearance.....the Possum, Mr. George Jones!!

In a time when many country artists seem to blend in with a similar look and sound, Dean Crawford and the Dunn's River Band stand out as distinctly different in these two most important and defining categories. DCDRB is certain to delight your audiences and leave them wanting more, they are simply a cut above the rest and would welcome the opportunity to perform for you!
