Chris Tolentino is an original Pop/Rock singer, songwriter, and musician from Maryland. He has written and recorded over 100 songs to date. His songs have been featured on compilation CD’s with Iggy Pop, The Thrills, O.A.R., Al Green, The Bloody Lovelies, etc. as well as internet radio stations across the globe.
Chris began his music career as the lead singer and bass player for the Alternative Rock band SmudgeProof in 1999. After touring for 3 years, SmudgeProof released one full-length CD and showcased a final performance at the Millennium Music Conference in 2001. From 2017-2020 Chris teamed up with vocalist and songwriting talent Cyrus Keefer and vocalist Kayla Rae, to form the band Airwaves Spectacular! Airwaves Spectacular released 4 albums, and the songs are a must for any music library!
Now Chris performs solo using his acoustic or electric guitar, and custom bass and drum backing tracks providing that full band sound! In addition to a plethora of originals, Chris also performs a vast library of covers songs from the 60s,70s, 80s, 90s, and today!
