The Colliders\Home

The Colliders, as individuals, have played everything from funk to punk to classical to country, in auditoriums and honky-tonks and recording studios. These artists got together in 2008 to return to the rocking three-chord, three-minute rockabilly, blues, and honky-tonk sounds that made them love rock and roll in the first place. The Colliders mixed a good, healthy dose of current material into their repertoire, connecting present-day rock and roll with its roots in a way that is unique and innovative.
The Colliders' three-piece format is demanding and satisfying. While the uncluttered musical landscape allows plenty of room for creativity, it also offers a musician no place to hide -- you gotta be good to pull this off. Probably the most common comment the group hears is, "I can't believe there are only three of you up there!" The band's typical sound is solid and uncomplicated, with a big fat backbeat, a thumping bass that makes you wiggle in your seat, inventive solos and dynamics, and vocals that are all over the place (all three sing, each with a unique style) (never mind the killer three-part harmonies).

Thanks for the plug!!!!

Hank and the guys were true pro's. I hired them to play for a corporate event, the gig came with some rather strict guidelines and rules (due to the nature of the event) in which they had to play under and they were gracious in playing under the terms and conditions and went out of their way to make sure our clients and sponsors were happy! They even played a second night for me under very short notice when I didn't have anyone to cover the second nights gig. They showed up early and started on time and everyone had a great time! The Colliders were a joy to work with and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Thanks Colliders for making the event a success!
