Newly forming band, 8.1-81 seeks guitar and keys with vocal ability for 80s band playing the best of 80s pop and rock such as Michael Jackson, Tears for Fears, Journey, Mr. Mister, Duran Duran, INXS, Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, etc.  Rehearsal will be once a week in Parkville.  We have plenty of contacts at clubs and plan on trying to do private events as well.  Must have great gear and great attitude.  We are looking to perform 2-3 shows a month.  So only a part time gig.  Guitarists , get to play all those licks and shredding solos from back in the day and keyboardists play more than a little piano or organ behind everything.  Bust our your synths and sequencers if ya got em!  Current members are all 40s and early 50s.  Interested?  Contact us!

I just saw your add on Maryland Musicians seeking a guitar player. Are you guys still looking? My name is Kevin and I live in Parkville. I am 49 years old. I have been playing in local bands since the 80’s. Most notably, “The Kraze” in the early 90’s and “Just-4-Fun” in the 2000’s. Let me know if you guys would like to jam.
