Barb G.- Vocals & Percussion As a multi-faceted vocalist, Barb’s powerful 3 octave range voice boasts over 15 years of on-stage rockin’ experience. Barb’s unique vocalist style is able to imitate and capture every breath of the original artists’ cover tunes (male or female). Barb’s approach to lead singing is lead performing….”I can’t just stand there and sing…I feel the emotions and rhythm of each song – I’ve got to dance and connect with the audience and the band”. High performance energy and a fun approach to each cover tune is her staple, and all the band members project that same level of enthusiasm and energy. You may have remembered Barb as the lead singer in SPIRAL for 6 years where she covered a wide variety of male and female modern rock and classic rock artists. Barb also has performed in a variety of lead singing roles (or back up roles) throughout her performing years in Baltimore with other popular bands in the area such as UNION JACK, ‘BOUT TIME, MMB and POSEABLE ACTION FIGURES where she continued to cover modern/classic rock, along with some funk and pop rock covers. Rich P. – Lead Guitar & Vocals Rich has contributed as a solid bass player, guitarist and vocalist with over 20 years of on-stage professional experience playing in several rock bands around the Baltimore area. Rich combines extraordinary stage presence, excellent musicianship and powerful vocals to compliment any song and audiences love him! Rich currently rocks out with his bass guitar while singing leads and back ups with POSEABLE ACTION FIGURES. He was lead singer/guitarist for the band WORLD OF DIFFERENCE and later played guitar and bass with local bands SUM OF EACH and SCENE 24. Rich is an accomplished singer/songwriter and performs extensively as an acoustic performer. Jim G. – Guitar and Vocals Jim has been performing on-stage for large audiences since the age of ten years old. As a Peabody Prep classical guitar student, he learned the foundation of music that he lends to his rock, blues and fusion styles. Jim has been active in the local band scene for the last 30 years most recently with the DANYL REYMON BLUES BAND and the rock-blues-fusion band THE GROOVACIOUS. Jim’s earlier associations with the bands GRAPES OF WRATH, ROLLS ROYCE and the JOANNE DODDS BAND taught him valuable lessons about the local music scene and club circuit. Jim has been a veteran of studio recording since the age of 13. In the 80’s, Jim, with fellow songwriter Tim Elliott, wrote, recorded and produced the innovative Brainwaves album that received airplay in the Baltimore market. Jim’s style adds color and texture to The Fashionably Late. John T (JT) – Bass Guitar and Vocals John continues to deliver a unique and solid style of bass playing for over 20 years in the Baltimore area. Most bands setup huge arena sound systems when they're performing in small restaurants and night clubs. They have stacks and stacks of huge speakers, a long cable for a soundman with a massive mixing board along with several stage monitor speakers and wires everywhere. Just loading in their gear usually upsets your dining guests and hurts your business. Then to top it off they're too loud. Not with THE FASHIONABLY LATE band. For smaller clubs, we use the ultra compact and revolutionary BOSE L1 PA system that doesn't require stage monitor speakers. No soundman, no monitors, no rat's nest of wires. Just small guitar amps with drums and the BOSE L1 system to make our setup simple. Our sound is rich, clean, full and not too loud. With today's new technology, there's no need for the huge over-kill PA systems in small and mid-size venues. So with THE FASHIONABLY LATE band, load-in and setup will not disrupt your business. We're there to entertain, keep the crowd happy and help make your night a profitable one. For Bookings: Want more details on THE FASHIONABLY LATE?
