Without a doubt, Dean Crawford and the mighty Dunn's River Band, through hard work and perseverance, has emerged as the Mid-Atlantic's premier Country/Southern Rock group. Led by Jamaican born-and-raised Dean Crawford, Dunn's River has been entertaining the Mid Atlantic's hard core Country fans for more than 10 years.
Devotion to their music and to their fans is what drives this group of stellar performers. A faithful and growing fan base is what keeps this group on the rise with sold out appearances and souvenir sales that eclipse any other group in the region. With regular gigs at local clubs, outdoor festivals, and private events, the band has extended its reaches to places like Charles Town Races and Slots in West Virginia, Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis MD and Rams Head Live in Baltimore, Frederick MD 4th of July 2006 celebration hosted by country radio WFRE, Eastern Yacht Club July 4th fireworks show, bolstered by performances on FOX 45, WMAR and WJZ Channel 13 morning shows. They performed for the soldiers of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) several times, and at Nashville's Fan Fair.(now Music Fest)
In a recent high-profile event to unite the cultural diversity in the state of Maryland, Dean was chosen by Maryland’s governor, Martin O’Malley, to represent the country lifestyle and genre through his music. In a time when many country artists seem to blend in with a similar look and sound, Dean Crawford and the Dunn's River Band stand out as distinctly different in these two important and defining categories.

has now released 3 great cd's and a Christmas CD.
Currently a 5 song Demo CD recorded in Nashville is being presented to major labels in the country field. Dean is also planning his new cd and will begin recording it soon.
