Available for club venues, fairs, festivals & carnivals, corporate events, and private parties!!
Richie Fields’ smooth country baritone has already given this up-and-coming recording artist four well-received radio singles and a #1 music video for “Man Enough To Cry” (Y’all Wire). Known for his energetic live shows and ability to connect with his audience, Richie has toured nationally, playing at many of the country’s most renowned venues. He has opened the show for WPOC’s Sunday in the Country at a sold out Merriweather Post Pavilion and has shared the stage with many of Country Music’s biggest names including Darius Rucker, Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser, Eli Young Band, The Band Perry, Hunter Hayes, Frankie Ballard, Montgomery Gentry, Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Joe Diffie, Tracy Lawrence, James Otto, and many more.
Richie has previously been acknowledged on CMA’s “Who New To Watch” list, as well as making his debut in Country Weekly magazine’s “Who’s New” feature. His national television debut was made on Inside Music Row and he appears in the Motion Picture “9-Ball”. Richie and his band were recently presented with a “Rammy Award” for “Best Opening Act of 2014” at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD. He and his band took a bus full of fans with them to Nashville again in June 2014, where they performed for the 7th straight year during the CMA Music Festival.
“Smile”, Richie’s third album, was produced in Franklin, TN at the renowned Sound Kitchen and includes 13 tracks all written or co-written by him. “There is a true story behind most every song on this album,” says Richie, and listeners will be hard pressed to listen to the CD without finding something that strikes a chord within their own lives. The ballads are dripping with love and love lost, the mid-tempo tunes reflect a certain maturity of a singer/songwriter who has lived out some of life’s lessons, and the up-tempo rockin’ numbers are clever, sometimes funny, and will have you jumping out of your seat, kicking up your heels and singing along! “Smile” was released as a single to country radio and became Richie’s fourth tune to hit the Music Row charts.
Prior to “Smile”, recording sessions with producer J. Gary Smith (Andy Griggs, Lonestar) generated two charted radio singles on Music Row from Richie’s second CD “Down Memory Lane”. The emotionally charged tune “Losing You” was followed up by the hard driving single “Wichita” which climbed it’s way to #1 on the Indie World Chart. The single “Devil In The Mirror” from Richie’s first CD “Man Enough To Cry” also charted on Music Row and has remained a fan favorite.
Currently, Richie and his band members have been writing songs for the upcoming fourth CD and have been working hard in the recording studio. They hope to have the CD ready for release by June 1st, 2016. Among these new tunes, “When A Good Man Dies”, “Tonight’s the Night”, and “Party Hoppin’” have already been well-received during live performances.
