Bob Wight
(Please be sure to leave your email address when you sign my guestbook, if you wish me to contact you!)
Bob Wight has been entertaining audiences in Maryland, Florida, and across the country since the mid-70's. For over two decades, Bob has regularly performed throughout Maryland and DC both solo and as part of a duo, for eight years beginning in 1984 with guitarist and vocalist Dave Eminizer, and later with Mark Jacob, a multi-instrumentalist who brought new songs and contemporary artists like Creed, Train, and Chris Isaak to the setlist. Currently, Bob draws a steady following of both old and new fans to his solo shows featuring his signature 12-string guitar sound and extensive song list of classic and current hits. Occasional gigs with Dave or Mark provide an opportunity for great harmonies and an even greater variety of crowd-pleasing tunes.
As one half of the duo Dannon Wight from 1977 - 1982, Bob performed from New York to Washington, landed a song on WKTK's "Baltimore's Best Rock" album, and recorded in Nashville and NYC with Irwin Levine (writer of several number one hits in the 60's and 70's). The duo was also frequently called upon to play shows for the City of Baltimore and New York's Department of Tourism.
