Local vocalist in Elkridge/Columbia area looking to get back into the band scene.

I've been on stage with various bands for the past 10+ years, fronting bands like Wired Shut in Pasadena, Heads Up from Bel Air, and most recently Rebel Radio out of Fallston. My range is on the higher end, so I've done some Zeppelin, some Journey, some Bruno Mars, and even some Katy Perry (!). Most often I like performing rock, pop, and alternative music, not a lot of classic rock (if any) and no esoteric "b-sides" that no one knows. I want to play favorites that everyone wants to hear, that people recognize, and that gets people dancing and drinking. The more we can get the crowd pumped up, the more I get energized, too!

Practicing once a week isn't bad, and playing out in the popular rooms (River Watch, MacAvoys,The Jetty, Looney's, Padonia Ale House, etc.) would be optimal, and playing 2-4 times per month would be about the max I'd want to do. It's not all about the money, but it's also a LOT of work to be in a successful band, so playing for peanuts is a waste of time. I know we won't get rich, but I at least want to make it worthwhile! I love a hobby that pays for my food and gas for the month! :)
