Need a lead guitar for an established band that concentrates its efforts on contemporary (bro) country (Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Jake Owens, Blake Shelton, etc. . .) seasoned with a little classic/southern rock. If you are interested, bring your creativity, work ethic and collaborative spirit - leave your ego behind. We need a guitarist who can learn and memorize their music quickly and efficiently. Our philosophy: learn the music at home -- practice is for fine tuning and the coordination of intros and outros. Current members are in their 40s, we all work 40+ hour a week jobs, and we are experienced musicians. We are looking for a guitarist willing to be a long term part of a team -- no showboats or prima donnas need apply. We play 2-4 times per month and have gigs on the books. We practice on Thursday nights in the Colesville/Burtonsville, MD area (halfway between DC and Baltimore off the I-95 corridor).
