Subject: Lead Guitar ready to play

46 year old rock lead guitar player is tired of sitting around not playing music and is looking for a part time band or willing to form one with the right dedicated people. I like music from the 60's to the present and would like to be in a band that can incorporate a variety of music that most people would like to hear. Rock, country, blues and most variations of those genre's. The only band that I wouldn't have any interest in is a band that plays all or mostly modern rock music. By modern rock I mean bands like Linkin Park, Disturbed and bands that tune their guitars way down. The music I grew up listening to and learned to play guitar with are Zeppelin, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath and I've been in bands that have played everything from the Doobies to Slayer. I'm all over the place musically these days but my heart lies in the rock genre which includes but not limited to hard rock, country, alternative (Pearl Jam, U2,) classic rock (Stones, Doobies, Zeppelin).
I have reliable transportation, pro gear. I don't have a ego and I don't think too highly of myself so I'm not out to blow you away with my playing. I'm a solid guitar player that learns his parts and likes to be an addition to a band and not axis on which it spins. I've played with those guys and I wouldn't want to them. I don't have a substance issue or drinking problems. I have a full time job and your regular responsibilities.
