Can anyone recommend some decent drum mics?. Particularly a package to get. Not looking to spend a zillion dollars but maybe a couple hundred? I have a 6 piece kit i need to mic in live situations. Dont really want a preamp board or anything if i can help it. Just a decent mic package.

I've been using Audix I5's for years.  They're great for drum; compact size, durable, made for high spl, AND they're freq response curve goes up at both ends - great if you are looking for more ring or thud on any given note.  price about the same as an SM57.
