Hello Maryland Venues, we are a very experienced power trio that is looking for a few good clubs in Md to perform. We perform 150-175 gigs a year so we dont have a huge open schedule. Your customers will love us and you for bringing us in. We are quickly developing a following in Bel Air because of Mario at the Tower, but we need a couple of more places to play. Well, the music scene down here has become very competitive when it comes to finding venues to play. Professional bands are now starting to play "B" clubs just to keep working. This means more bands for less slots and lower pay. Most likely no one is going to help bring one more band into the mix, hence the crickets. Good Luck

Unfortunately, after my 30+ years performing in MD, venues still do not read these messages to contact bands. You will need to look at the venues listed, and contact the clubs directly that you are interested in performing at. Just the way it is around here.

Thanks guys,
Those who book bands are overwhelmed. In MD in Pa, no difference, there are alot of bands and every band is the best, or so we say : ) I've heard some good cds from bands and then live....well.....
One bar owner in Pa rececently told me that the first thing she does is to look at the bands playing schedule, even before listening to any cd. If they are playing alot, then "it's a no brainer, I hire them, it is why I hired you guys and you did not let me or my customers down" (we play 3 times a week) Makes a lot of sense to me.
Anyway, thanks for the replies to my thread, and if there is anyone out there that has personal contacts with venues in MD and wants to help us, please conact me.
We already met some really cool musicians at the Main St Tower who love our band, so we hope to meet more of you, check our schedule. All Guitar players love Bob's Guitar Playing!
Best wishes Dodd Gross Drum/vocals/Booking Bob Noble & The Blue Voodoo Band. Contact: Dodd 717 515 2528
