Entertainment Attorneys
The Entertainment Practice Group is chaired by former musician and talent agent, Alan Tilles. Mr. Tilles is also a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association. He has written extensive articles for music industry magazine Goldmine on Tower of Power, which has been reprinted on the Rhino Handmade Records website, and the Average White Band which was included on the band's recent DVD release. In addition to Tower of Power, the roster of entertainers which the firm has worked with on a variety of issues includes Jessica Benson, the newest member of teen R&B trio 3LW, Ambrosia, Washington, D.C. area favorite Deanna Bogart, as well as one of the nation's foremost close-up magician, Jamy Ian Swiss. Recently, Shulman Rogers was honored to act as a consultant for the Francis "Rocco" Prestia Medical Fund. Rocco is Tower of Power's legendary bass player, and was in need of a liver transplant. Fortunately, a donor was found, and Rocco is well on his way to a successful recovery.
